AN: I'm back with Hikaru's POV now and this will be the last chapter then an epilogue, thank you for those who followed my very first not-so-good chaptered fic here in LJ.

It's been 10 months since I came to this world and I've never been this satisfied with the new knowledge I've gathered than before. I'm in a mysterious world that I thought existed only in the fiction books of my time. But really living in a world of vampire and hunters? It's like a survival game well except for the fact that I have a frail body and the two groups signed a pact saying that vampires will not feed on human blood and the hunters will not meddle with the vampires as long as the vampires will not harm any human being. All in all everything's peaceful. I learned a lot of new things. Medicine, weapons and even dark magic. I even trained but since there's no war, it's quite useless.

And about him, I still haven't seen him. I've been looking around the town and I even went to the other villages but there are no signs of him around so I decided to just wait for him maybe he will appear when the time comes. I'm quite happy with what happened last life since I know that he wasn't that hurt unlike the other lives but still leaving him behind. I think I should stop now since he's hurting too much.

"But really, what are you guys doing here?" I asked Yuto and Keito who are on the couch, as usual, flirting with each other.

"We are curious as to what will happen this time, and if you want to know why we landed on this weird looking world then you better ask that old geezer behind you." Yuto pointed at the old man behind me fixing a flower vase.

"Yu- - to.. do you want to go to hell? The man behind me asked.

"NO! I'm just kidding my lord. I don't want it there, there's no yummy Keito there you know!"

"Then you can just bring you Keito with you then."

"hey god, I'm doing nothing bad here you know!" Keito joined in.

"Keito ,how could you! Do you want me to go to hell alone?"

"Yuto!Stop being so LOUD! Let’s just go to the mansion in the next town later. I heard that their eldest son is celebrating his 21st birthday today." Inoo said as he entered the room with Daiki holding the baskets of fruits and breads they bought from the town earlier.

"Isn't it dangerous, you know our blood is more powerful than ordinary humans." Keito asked looking at the man behind me.

"Hmm, it's dangerous but I think you should go, It's time." four pairs of eyes widened but no one bothered to say anything. they were hiding something from me.

'Time.'

"What's with this clothes?!" I looked at the fluffy white material in front of me with ruffles and stuffs.

"Hikaru If you want to go there with your filthy trousers then no one's stopping you." Yuto snapped as he continued to dress up Keito.

"Where's Inoo?" I asked daiki when I noticed that Inoo has been missing the moment we stepped inside the mansion.

"uhh, Maybe roaming around for food." Daiki looked away meaning he's hiding something from me.

"I'll go look for him." I walked out without waiting for their response. I looked around and saw beautiful creatures everywhere, they were all looking at me and I decided to go to the garden, and I saw Inoo talking to someone hidden in the shadows there.

"...please don't go there right now, it's for your own safety." Inoo said to the stranger.

"And why would I listen to a stranger like you? plus, you smell different." the stranger extended his hand and I saw Inoo took a step back.

"Stop it Ko-chan." I went towards them and saw Inoo widen his eyes. I know that they were hiding something from me and what else could it be except Ko-chan? I went beside Inoo and wrapped my arms around him.

"Go back to Daiki now, enough of protecting me Kei."

Inoo was about to protest when I pushed him away. He gave an apologetic smile and I smiled back at him. He should really stop protecting me. He could've got killed earlier by Ko-chan because he is after all, the eldest son of this vampire family. It's good that I arrive earlier. He should think more of himself that devoting it to me.

"Who are you? And why did you call me by that name?" Ko-chan asked me, looking a bit frightened.

"I'm Yaotome Hikaru and I just feel that that nickname suits you the most."

"Hikaru...then can I call you Hika then?"

"Sure. But why is our birthday celebrant sulking here alone in the garden?" I asked him as I sat beside him on the rim of the fountain. He looked at me with sad eyes and said.

"Because I don't want to meet new people, I have a feeling that they will leave me alone if they learn who I really am, I don't want to be left alone."

'Fear of being left alone' that must be my fault after all I left him four times already..ahh..I'm cruel right?

"Why? Who's the real you Ko-chan?" I asked him with a smile on my face, for a moment he looked hesitant but he sighed as if giving everything away. He looked at me and said.

"Because I don't want to be a vampire, I want to be a human just like you. I want to be able to look at the sunrise and sunset, I want to go out and play here in the mornings, I want to go to the town with Chii and Ryu, and I want to fall in love."

'to fall in love' don’t give everything for love Ko-chan, I'll just leave you in the end.

"Is there a way to become human?" I asked.

"Yes there is and that's the reason why everyone would want to stay away from me once they learn what I really want. To become human, I need to kill a vampire and drink its blood. Even my parents were away from me because of that, my servants were both humans because I don't get attracted to their bloods, I can't blame the other vampires because I don't even know why I feel this way." He looked away.

"But you did get attracted with Inoo earlier?" I asked him remembering the scene where he stretched his hands towards Inoo.

"Oh silly, of course I'm just scaring him, but the two of you smells different. What are you?" he asked.

"You'll know sooner or later."

That wonderful night is followed by secret meetings under the moonlight. He would sneak out of the mansion and we would meet on the riverside and talk about everything. He told me about his life. His cousin Yuya being a playboy, his little brother Yamada who likes his little human servant Chii and his another human servant who loves mystery and adventure. We were so happy being in each other's presence and it was soon enough when we learned that we were helplessly in love with each other and those carefree nights turned into passionate ones. One time after we made love, he snuggled on my chest and said something.

"Hika, I'm going to do it." meaning he will kill a vampire to become a human.

"No, don't be reckless Ko-chan, you might get killed, I'm fine with what we have right now."

"But I'm not! I want to become human Hika, I want to feel you! I want to grow old with you!"

"Don't you'll just regret it." I said as I looked away from him.

"No!" He said it with finality on his voice and I know that there's nothing that can change his mind anymore. I looked at the moon and sighed.

"Fine, I'll help you."

We sneaked inside the mansion that night and went straight into Shoon's room. I'm holding two double edged swords and when Shoon felt the sudden intrusion in his room, he stood up and faced me ready to fight. I am lucky enough to swish my swords despite the inhumane capabilities of Shoon and soon enough I was able to slash one of my swords in front of him. His eyes widened as blood rushed out of his body. I know that soon the whole mansion will be awakened by the scent and I motioned Ko-chan to go to Shoon's dying body now but then when I looked at him I saw him in front of me positioning himself between me and another intruder, Taiyou. I saw Taiyou struck a small dagger into Ko-chan's stomach and the horror in Ko-chan's face made me hysterical, I picked up my sword and strucked it directly into Taiyou's heart turning him into ashes.

"k- -Ko-chan hold on. Wait don't die, damn Ko-chan!" Ko-chan smiled at me.

"We were so close ne? But when I saw Taiyou aiming that dagger at you, I thought that I'd rather die than to continue living without you because I have a feeling that I've been doing that for what feels like forever. I'll wait for you Hika, I'll see you soon." and with that said, he closed his eyes, his lips tugged with a small smile. Just like that, he left without hearing my unending promise to him. Just like that, I've lost my life, the most important person to me; just like that everything crumbled and died with him.

Vampires made their way to me and I slashed them one by one, tears streaming down my face. I went to the fountain where we first met and wept.

"Ko-chan why? it should be me! it hurts to be left alone huh? You must be really strong to be able to endure it, gomen ne Ko-chan."

Later on I saw Chii and Ryu with my four friends and the old man behind them I ran up to him and kneeled in front of him.

"My lord,I want to be with him, I want to stop hurting him, I want my eternity with him now, please I beg you, Don't make Ko-chan suffer anymore. I'll do anything just let me be with him forever. My lord." I was begging him and crying endlessly. Inoo's patting my back and god motioned me to stand up. I stood up clutching my swords and looked at him. He smiled a strained smile as he ruffled my hair.

"There's one way to be with him now."

"How?" I asked desperately.

"Kill yourself." and with no further ado I struck a sword directly in my heart

Ko-chan, wait for me, I'll be there soon.

AN Don't kill me for this onegai!! I'll post the epilogue sometime this week if I'd ever get a chance again~~plus wait for 2 yamachii, 1 inoobu, 1 yabuhika and 2 okajima within june and july~~:)) just remind me about it~~I might forget:))
