"Daddy Yu what is a love umbrella?"

The seven years old Nishii walked inside his parents' room and climbed on the lap of his petite and cheerful daddy.

"Hmm, why do you ask baby?"

Chinen put down the book he's reading and looked at his cute adopted child.

"My classmates were writing something on a paper earlier and I asked them what it is and they told me that it is a love umbrella but I can't understand it, it was just names written under a triangle separated by a line.."

the little Nishii narrated it with an animated face that made Chinen laugh.

"Hmm they say that if you write your name and the name of the one you love under the love umbrella, then you will be together forever." Chinen answered looking at the window.

"But that's silly! Do you believe in it daddy?" the proud little Nishii asked.

Chinen looked at his son for a while and smiled.

"Yes, I do believe in it Nishii."

Chinen Yuri is the most famous student in his school. He excel in both academics and sports, he is the secretary of the student council, a member of the glee and acrobatics club and is a very good friend to his classmates, a good senpai and kouhai to other students. He is adored by both students and teachers and even the ones of his own gender, and when I say everyone, it means everyone well..until Yamada Ryosuke came. When Yamada came to school Chinen greeted him and offered Yamada to be his friend but you know what the baka-yama did? He refused Chinen's offer. That's the first so Chinen got slightly depressed but recovered soon enough to actually observe the boy who refused the oh-so charming Chinen. Chinen found out that Yamada never really talked to anyone and he doesn't bother to make friends BUT he is very smart and athletic too, just like Chinen and that caused them to clash with each other every time the examinations came. They would always compete for the first place but Chinen never really cared for it Yamada would sometimes beat him and he would sometimes beat Yamada well, until the start of their senior year. Chinen Yuri became the president of the student council and his works were as tall as his friend Nakajima Yuto so he didn't bother to exert too much effort to compete with Yamada since his pares weren't that strict. During the whole time Chinen observed how Yamada coped up with the friendly and cooperative atmosphere of the school. Yamada never really cared about it. He would always eat alone in the classroom and he would rather do a group activity on his own since he's great enough to do it alone.

One time, Chinen, Daiki, Yuto and Takaki were on the cafeteria when Yamada walked in. Eyes were on him as the most anti-social person in the school went to the busiest, nosiest and happiest place in the school. The looked of confusion on the chubby cheeked boy's face made Chinen's heart beat wildly and his eyes widened as he smiled ruefully because such realization shouldn't hit him like that-when he was least prepared. Because the mysterious beauty in front of them proved to be insanely irresistible.

"Ha! Little Chi's in love!" Takaki noticed it immediately. Chi after all is someone really easy to read since he showed everybody nothing but his true self.

"Go fetch you lost kitten Chi!" Yuto pushed his little friend towards the chubby cheeked boy.

"Bring him to our table hmm?" Daiki patted his little friend and reached for Chinen's food tray as they left him and went to their table. Chinen nervously made his way towards the beau that he just realized that he loves. His nervousness disappeared when he saw a bunch of girls daring to get near Yamada. No one could touch what is mine. and with that thought he cheerfully approached the said guy.

"Hey! can I call you yama-chan? I'm Chine Yuri, I hope you remember me. Anyway it's my first time seeing you here in the cafeteria and I bet you’re now confused by the complicated ways of it. Come I'll show you." Of course Chinen could be insanely irresistible too or maybe Yamada's just too desperate to have his lunch that's why he followed Chinen. Poor girls, they missed their chance to talk to the second most handsome guy and probably the coolest one in the school.

"First exchange your money for the chits, oh, I think you'll need a hundred yen, and then to the food corner and the drinks, you can get the utensils beside that girl there, see? Then the condiments are under that table. Come you can sit with us, I'll introduce you to my friends.

Yamada was dragged by Chinen to the smiling-suspiciously group of Daiki, Yuto and Takaki, the moment they saw the two they hid something under their food trays and smiled goofily at the two.

"Yama-chan these are my best friends. That blabbermouth penguin there is Arioka Daiki and that too-tall-for-his-age guy is Nakajima Yuto and this lazy head here is Takaki Yuya. Minna this is Yamada Ryosuke.

"So spit it out." Chinen said when Yamada excused himself. The trio laughed hard and reached for tissue papers under their tray. Chinen eyed them curiously and noticed that there are something written on the tissue paper. He leaned more and saw a love umbrella with his name and Yamada's name on each one.

"Chi for sure it will work! just look at the heavy handwriting of Yuya!" Takaki whacked Daiki and mumble a 'stop being a blabbermouth' which caused a non-stop laughter from the table when they calmed down Chinen looked at the drawings and saw Takakis bold and heavy handwriting on the first and Yuto's neat and beautiful handwriting on the second and Daiki's colorful and light handwriting on the last one.

"Baka! What are you guys? Pre-school students? That’s not true!" Chinen laughed at his friends but his friends gave him a death glare and he stopped.

"Ha! we'll see!" the trio said and punched in the air comically.

Chinen laughed again, he's quite lucky to have such lovely friends.

"Chi let's go home!" The trio barged inside the student council room only to see a serious looking Chinen Yuri. They whispered their apologies and went out of the room. They knew Chinen to well and that look means he doesn't want to be disturbed. The trio decided to go to Yuto's house and play. When Chinen finished his work the sun is already setting. He walked around the building and saw the library. He remembered Yamada, Yamada preferred to spend his time in the library rather that to hang out with friends. Chinen's thought drifted to the chubby cheeked boy and he didn't notice the sudden heavy downpour of rain, when he reached the lobby and saw the blurry road in front of him, he couldn't help but curse because he forgot to bring his umbrella today. He waited for a while hoping that the rain would stop soon but he's been standing there for 30 minutes and he saw no signs of the rain stopping so he clutched his bag and readied himself to be soaked all the way. He walked out of the building but someone grabbed him back by his collar, for a second he got scared thinking that it was a vulgar but then he remembered that he's still inside the school so he turned around and saw Yamada holding an umbrella.

"Buzamada~"

"Then, then??" Little NIshii looked at his Daddy Yu but Chi just smiled and patted his head.

"You know the usual. We were in Hey! Say! JUMP so we became close, he realized that he loves me, we got married and adopted you~ta-da! Happy Ending! now it's time to sleep, and don't tell papa Ryo that my friends wrote a love umbrella okay?" Nishi kissed his Daddy Yu and walked out of the room, winked at a certain person on the door and went to his room. Meanwhile Chinen was still smiling when he opened a drawer on his table and pulled a certain box containing three love umbrellas when the door opened.

"So do I need to thank you silly friends for what I have now? guess it works huh?" Yamada Ryosuke smiled sweetly to his fated one. A smile that no fan girl has ever seen before. a sweet smile that is reserved for Chinen Yuri alone.

"Hmm silly Nishii and his silly papa. I guess we're busted huh? and no, you should thank me for loving you in the first place." Chinen made his way towards the awaiting arms of Yamada.

" I'm always thankful for that, you know it Chi." Yamada kissed Chinen sweetly and smiled.

"Hnn, I missed you Yama-chan."

"I missed you too."

Next morning

The lovely couple made their way to their son's room to wake their little Nishii. When they entered the room, they saw a paper on the table and the two smiled when they saw a love umbrella with Nishii's and Yuya Matsushita's name on it.
